Majority of TD’s support Banded Hours Contracts Bill

Dunnes Stores workers received widespread support from almost all TD’s in the Dail last night when the Banded Hours Contract Bill 2016 was being debated.

Parties supporting the Bill include:

  • Sinn Fein, Labour, AAA/PBP, Independents4Change, Social Democrats, Green Party, a number of Independents.

Parties supporting the Bill but seeking to delay it by 12 months include:

  • Fianna Fail

Parties opposing the Bill:

  • Fine Gael.
