10% Premium Payment & Sick Pay Protections during Covid-19

Based on a large number of requests from Dunnes members on the announcement that Tesco Ireland are giving all staff a 10% premium payment for working during the Covid-19 pandemic, the union has written to Dunnes Stores management today (see letter attached) seeking the following:

  • 10% premium payment for hours worked during the pandemic
  • Introduction of a Covid-19 Sick Pay Protection Scheme
  • Increase the Staff Privilege Card to a 20% discount for all staff

In conjunction with the request letter to Dunnes management your union is hosting an online petition so that all staff can add their voice to this request and increase the pressure on Dunnes to do the right thing.
