Decency for Dunnes Workers

Today the Dunnes Stores National Committee of Mandate is launching our pay claim for 2023.

This claim is based on extensive feedback from you and your fellow Dunnes Stores workers who have participated in surveys and meetings through your union.

Our claim includes:

• A fair pay increase of €1.75 per hour for all Dunnes Stores workers.

• Additional annual leave for all staff

• Enhanced sick pay

• A demand for more full time jobs & extra hours to be distributed to existing staff before hiring new workers

• Fair scheduling for a better work/life balance – Four weeks’ notice of rosters and flexibility for a balanced work/life environment

• Maternity/paternity/parental leave – Paid maternity and paternity leave with flexible options for parental/parents leave

We need all Dunnes workers to join our campaign and rally behind this pay claim. Right now Dunnes workers across Ireland are struggling to make ends meet. Rents and mortgage rates are up, electricity and gas is up, but our wages aren’t keeping pace. The only way we can win a fair pay increase and better working conditions is if we stand together in our union.
